In a process of self-disruption, Toronto-based Nelson, Canada’s largest educational publisher, envisioned a digital student companion that could exceed the limitations of printed textbooks. Thousand Plateau participated in this initial idea, forging an identity, brand language and prototypes that championed the human relationship between educators and learners.
From a platform deployed to an initial four classrooms, the subsequent email and display campaigns, social media management, sub-brands, events, video and ongoing strategy further evangelized the platform for classroom success. After early promise, proven student outcomes continued to accelerate, even through the onset of COVID-19. Thousand Plateau continues to shepherd the Edwin brand and experience as the platform crosses the threshold of helping a half million students.
